An extensive parallel programme

An extensive parallel programme of guided tours, lectures, discussions, presentations and films will be taking place in the Martin-Gropius-Bau alongside the exhibition itself. Experts from different fields will be presenting contemporary research projects and international researchers will be talking about their reason for being in Berlin. Every second Thursday, the jubilee institutions will present scientific methods in the seven “Knowledge Paths”. The Deutsche Kinemathek Museum for Film and Television has put together a programme of rare scientific films especially for the exhibition. And video bus tours will be starting out from Martin-Gropius-Bau every Saturday to take visitors to unusual and unknown locations that play a role in Berlin’s research activities.

While the guided tours through the exhibition itself are available in several languages, please understand that the parallel programme will mainly be held in German. Please feel free to inquire about special foreign language tours at MuseumsInformation Berlin under Tel. 030/247 49 888 (Mo-Fr 9.00 am to 4.00 pm; Sa/Su/Holiday 9.00 am to 1.00 pm).
